In a shocking incident in Wermelskirchen, a gray pedelec of the FOCUS brand, model Aventura, was stolen on the morning of April 10th. The 36-year-old owner had secured her bike at around 8:30 a.m. with a folding palace in front of the town hall on a bicycle stand. But when she returned at 1:10 p.m., the bike had disappeared without a trace - the castle was still undamaged on the stand!

The woman was stunned how her electric bike could be stolen without the castle that she had so carefully attached. To report the theft, she turned to the police and filed a complaint. The investigators are now asking the public for helping: Anyone who has seen information about the whereabouts of the pedelec or suspicious persons during the crime room should immediately report to the Rhein-Berg police on 02202 205-0.
