In a serious accident in Markgröningen, a 60-year-old pedelec driver was seriously injured on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. The man was traveling on Möglinger Straße in the direction of Möglingen when a 35-year-old truck driver opened the driver's door while driving past. This apparently pushed against the cyclist's pedelec, which led to a fall.

The truck driver had apparently not checked whether opening the door was safe. The cyclist who was not wearing a helmet urgently had to be taken to the hospital. The property damage is estimated at around 1,000 euros.
