Erkrath, Deutschland - On May 1, 2025, a serious traffic accident with a pedelec driver occurred in Erkrath. The 58-year-old Düsseldorfer was on the bike path of Düsseldorfer Straße in the direction of Mettmann at 11:30 a.m. when he collided with a bollard at the intersection to Morper Allee for reasons that have so far been unexplained.
