This morning shortly before 7:00 a.m., two stray horses caused excitement at Greiz! The Deutsche Bahn emergency control center immediately alerted the federal police. In order to prevent possible rail disorders and dangers for the animals, the police had a patrol car mobilized and raced from Gera to Greiz.

The two horses along the railway line between Neumühle/Elster and Greiz were found with full use. The owner of the animals could be found in good time, and the police brought the horses back safely back to their coupling. A quick bet that prevented the worse!
