on Saturday, May 3, 2025, a fire broke out in a car on Landstrasse 126 at 2:35 p.m. The 52-year-old driver suddenly noticed a smell of fire and smoke in the interior when he drove uphill. He kept in a briefing at the Wasenlift, where both he and his passenger could escape from the vehicle unharmed.

With a fire extinguisher, the driver tried to extinguish the fire and thus prevented a possible full fire. The fire brigade later came to carry out post -extinguishing work. A technical defect is suspected as the cause of the fire. The affected car was finally towed.
