Police Aachen is looking for witnesses for a serious accident - red car fled!

A serious accident occurred on Tuesday morning in the Eschweilerstraße/Fichtenweg roundabout when a 61-year-old man was injured on his scooter. The driver of a red car apparently disregarded the door -to -run by the scooter driver and drove into the roundabout, causing the scooter driver to avoid and fell. The unknown driver then fled from the scene of the accident without taking care of the injured man.

The 61-year-old was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The Aachen police have initiated an investigation into traffic accident escape and negligent bodily harm.
