Police chases fleeing golf drivers: Witnesses urgently wanted!

In the early morning hours, shortly before 3 a.m., the police in Heilbronn became aware of a VW Golf, whose driver drove through the streets erratic and dangerous. The patrolling officers observed how the driver drove significantly snake lines in Neckargarttach and was partly without lighting. When the police tried to stop the vehicle, the driver accelerated towards Wilhelm-Leuschner-Straße and disregarded signal traffic lights, which put other road users in danger.

In front of the Böckingen-West industrial area, the driver braked abruptly and two occupants jumped out of the car and fled into different directions. A 17-year-old Heilbronner could be arrested nearby. The police are now asking for support: witnesses, especially drivers who were endangered by the fleeting vehicle, should contact the Heilbronn-Böckingen police station on 07131/204060.
