Police checked: Sealing belt is pure life!

On Wednesday morning, officials from the Offenbach city police and the Offenbach police station carried out traffic controls in Gesächstraße, whereby the focus was on using seat belts. In doing so, they registered more than a dozen violations, since many drivers did without the belt for convenience or incorrectly put them on. The police officers spoke to several road users about the life -saving meaning of the belt.

Also noticeable was a 16-year-old e-scooter driver who was traveling without the required compulsory insurance. Investigations were initiated against him. "The seat belt is not an option, but a necessity! Everyone should buckle up on every trip," emphasized police spokesman Thomas Leipold.
