Police separate counter -demonstrations in Nuremberg: tensions rise!

On Friday evening, May 23, 2025, there were two simultaneous meetings in Nuremberg, which caused excitement. Under the motto "against left -wing extremism", only 18 people gathered on the banks of the Prince Regent. However, the counter -rally "Nuremberg Nazi Frei" had a much greater interest with about 200 participants. The police immediately pulled the emergency brake: To prevent a direct collision from the two groups, the blocking grilles were set up in advance.

Around 7:45 p.m. Both meetings reached the planned places before the meeting ended around 8:15 p.m. A large number of police, including the Nuremberg Ost police inspection and forces from the Bavarian riot police, ensured a trouble-free course and the security of everyone involved.
