Cyclists gets under Sprinter - police are urgently looking for witnesses!

A dramatic accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon, May 21, 2025, on the L508 between Frankweiler and Siebeldingen! A racing cyclist was overtaken by a white sprinter with a trailer, but the driver shook again too early - and the impact was inevitable! The cyclist fell heavily and had to be taken to the hospital with an ambulance. The shocking thing: The sprinter driver simply continued his journey without taking care of the injured cyclist!

The property damage incurred on the racing bike amounts to 800 euros. The police are now investigating and asking for witnesses.
