Cyclists in Düren injured: driver escapes after the accident!

On Monday afternoon, April 28, 2025, a serious traffic accident occurred on the L327 between Stockheim and Niederau, in which a 27-year-old cyclist from Düren was injured. The accident happened around 11:15 a.m. when the cyclist was overtaken by a black VW, which led to a side collision. The man fell and later, as he reported to the police, and had to go on medical treatment.

The driver of the VW stopped briefly before he fled without leaving his personal details. The Düren police are now asking witnesses to the incident to report to help clarify the accident. The search for the unknown driver has top priority.
