Cyclists seriously injured: motor driver ignores right of way in Bad Laer

Bielefelder Straße, 49196 Bad Laer, Deutschland - On Saturday afternoon there was a serious traffic accident on Bielefelder Straße. A 67-year-old cyclist from Bad Laer was seriously injured in a collision with a car around 6:00 p.m. The 61-year-old driver, who drove onto the street from a petrol station area, ignored the cyclist's right of way.

The cyclist had to be taken to the hospital with the emergency services after the accident. Fortunately, the driver was not injured, but of both vehicles of considerable property damage. The police are now investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
