A serious traffic accident occurred on Tuesday, April 23, at 6 p.m. on Reginenstrasse in Hamm-Rhynern. A 64-year-old cyclist drove on the bicycle protection strip when a 23-year-old man from Soest and his VW Touran, whom he dragged with a breakdown vehicle, turned into the old Salzstrasse.

At the moment of turning, the cyclist crashed into the tow rope, fell and injured herself slightly. It was immediately taken to a hammer hospital with an ambulance and was released again after outpatient treatment. The property damage is estimated at around 100 euros.
