A suspected thief caused excitement in a food market on Gerhard-Malina-Straße on Monday evening! At 8:50 p.m., the stranger tried to pass the cash register without paying. A courageous cashier and a 34-year-old customer from Dinslaken noticed the crime and did everything possible to stop the perpetrator.

The customer opposed the thief, but there was a violent scramble on the ground. The perpetrator took the opportunity to escape and ran towards a nearby fast food chain while leaving the bag with the stolen goods. The police are now asking for evidence!
