Stadtroda, Deutschland - on Tuesday morning, at 02:35 a.m., there was a dramatic accident on Autobahn 4 towards Frankfurt a.M.: A 47-year-old Polish truck driver got off the street, broke the guardrail and continued his journey with torn down operating material containers. Despite his heavily alcoholic constitution, with a breath alcohol value of 2.11 per thousand, he drove again on the highway towards Dresden. There he collided with a concrete slide wall and stopped on the left lane.

The motorway police quickly found that massive damage had occurred - the preliminary total damage amounts to 60,000 euros. The Stadtroda junction had to be closed for around two hours for cleaning work, while the directional lane to Dresden remains completely closed. Road users have to adjust to a 2-kilometer traffic jam, while rescue and cleaning work is carried out. Several criminal proceedings were initiated against the driver and a blood sample was initiated.
