Dortmund, Deutschland - On Thursday morning at 8:23 a.m., an Audi should be checked in the Dortmund-Süd motorway junction. But the driver had other plans! He accelerated and raced away while the police had his target. A spectacular persecution drama developed when the driver and his passenger fled on foot shortly after.

Thanks to a lightning-fast commitment, including a police helicopter and service dogs, the officials were able to get the 33-year-old driver from Kamen and grab his 41-year-old companion from Lünen. The passenger suffered slight bite wounds when a service dog put him and then had to go to the hospital. The incidents have serious consequences: the driver now faces massive criminal proceedings - among other things because of dangerous intervention in road traffic and driving under the influence of drugs. The other three inmates were released after the check, but the bill for the two main actors is far from being paid!
