In a rigorous speed control on the state road in Edesheim, a total of 17 drivers were caught on April 9, 2025 that drove too quickly. The fastest driver was measured at 49 km/h, although only 30 km/h are allowed there. Also at the confluence from the L 516 to Roschbach, ten more novice drivers were traveling too quickly, with the leader even flashed with a breathtaking 105 km/h - the permissible top speed at this point is 70 km/h.
