A dramatic traffic accident occurred in Essen at around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday! A 29-year-old driver from Quakenbrück raced along Bunner Strasse with his vehicle, but in a curve he lost control and slammed against a tree. Both he and his 20-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries. With an alcohol test, the driver blew 1.8 per thousand - his driver's license is now gone! A second accident was even more difficult on Beverner Straße at the same time: A 29-year-old motorcyclist from Quakenbrück was seriously injured in a collision with the car of a 51-year-old woman from Essen.
