In a comprehensive traffic control of the district police authority Märkischer Kreis on May 13, 2025, numerous violations of speed limits were found. In Menden-Bösperde, the officials recorded a total of 1660 vehicles between 12:15 and 5:45 p.m. 137 drivers had to expect a warning money, while 21 administrative offenses were created. Bitter for three motorcyclists: You threaten a driving ban after you were flashed in a 30 km/h zone at up to 70 km/h.

Hardly any better things went in Kierspe, where control took place between 1:43 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. 1100 vehicles were measured here. 93 drivers must also expect a warning money, 38 must adapt to administrative offenses. A driver is even banned with a driving ban after having an incredible 96 km/h in a 50 km/h zone! The police authority makes it clear: speed violations are not tolerated!
