On Friday, April 18, a 53-year-old in Riedstadt was brutally attacked. At around 1:40 a.m., a woman chose the emergency call and reported a man who had apparently been robbed. The man was right in front of a discounter on the Odenwaldring when an unknown perpetrator suddenly started on him and hit the face several times.

After this violent assault, the attacker robbed the victim of his smartphone and threatened him before he disappeared in the dark. The perpetrator is described as about 20 to 25 years old, 1.60 meters tall, described with short black hair and a light mustache. He spoke -free German and wore blue jeans.
