On Thursday, April 24, 2025, a dramatic robbery occurred in Wendelstein (Roth district). A masked perpetrator threatened a 24-year-old man in a parking lot on Johann-Höllfritsch-Straße with a firearm and demanded the publication of valuables.

The investigation quickly led to success: the Schwabach criminal police arrested five more suspects. At the request of the public prosecutor's office in Nuremberg-Fürth, the investigative judge issued arrest warrants against an 18-year-old and four young men aged 19 to 22. The procedure is now being continued by the press spokeswoman for the public prosecutor, chief prosecutor Heike Klotzbuch.
