On Monday afternoon, the fire brigade and the police were called for a dramatic effort in Meppen. In a parking lot on the Hinterstraße, a 47-year-old man cleaned the interior of his Ford pickup as he found a cigarette in the passenger cell without thinking. The aerosol fights of the previously used cleaner immediately ignited - an incident that became a shock for everyone present!

The man only suffered minor injuries. But the dangers were great: other vehicles in the area and a nearby building were also damaged. The amount of property damage is currently still unclear, but the urgent warnings for handling cleaning agents should not be ignored after this incident!
