Rights and leftists clash: police reach in Dortmund!

In a violent argument in Dortmund, violent incidents between rights and left -wing groups occurred on Saturday evening, April 26, 2025. Around 10:55 p.m., three people from the right spectrum-a 20-year-old woman and two men aged 26 and 29-were attacked by several attackers in Bornstrasse. The group was thrown with bottles, stepped and sprayed with irritant gas. All three suffered minor injuries and had to go to the hospital.

The police reacted immediately: In cooperation with the public prosecutor, officials stormed the location to arrest and secure evidence. Thanks to an emergency regulation, the emergency services were able to act without a judicial search. As a result, personal details were recorded and evidence was secured, while uninvolved people remained untouched. The police measures lasted until the early hours of the morning. Further investigations also showed that the victims themselves may have been involved in an earlier bodily harm, which makes the investigation complicated. The State Protection of the Dortmund police has taken responsibility for further investigations.
