Reh accident in Wölfersheim: drivers drunk and badly damaged!
A 24-year-old driver had a spectacular accident in Wölfersheim on the late evening of April 28, 2025 when he wanted to avoid deer. The driver, who was traveling on Meldbacher Strasse with his Toyota Hilux, lost control and crashed into the guardrail, whereby the vehicle overturned and landed on the side. He suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. During a breath alcohol test it turned out that he was at the wheel with 1.35 per thousand. A blood sample followed, and now he has to expect a report for drunkenness in road traffic. The total damage amounts to around 14,000 euros.
In the meantime, unknown persons committed a break -in in the local building yard in Wöllstadt on the same day in Wöllstadt. Between Sunday evening and Monday morning, the thieves broke up the entrance door and stole a variety of tools, devices and a white VW Cafter with the FB-BW 53 license plates. The total damage is estimated at around 70,000 euros. The Friedberg police asks for clues to the two incidents and in particular the whereabouts of the stolen vehicle.
