Rescue at the last second: A8 chain reaction after a rear-end collision!
A spectacular rear -end collision on the A8 near Jungingen caused excitement on Monday morning! At 7:39 a.m., a 32-year-old Skoda driver crashed into the rear of a Tesla after realizing that several cars braked in front of him too late. The collision caused the Tesla to be pushed into another Skoda, which in turn catapulted a VW Golf on a BMW.
Fortunately, it stayed with property damage - luckily nobody was injured! The Mühlhausen traffic police estimate the total damage to a whopping 30,000 euros. The highway had to be completely blocked for the accident recording. From 8:30 a.m. the right lane was free again, and at 9:24 a.m. the traffic on the A8 was able to flow freely again.
