Rescue rings in the Weser sunk: Police determined!

On Tuesday morning, April 22, 2025, around 8:10 a.m., passers -by on Brake Kaje made an alarming discovery: five rescue rings that were available for emergencies were removed by unknown perpetrators and partially thrown into the Weser. The Brake police were informed immediately and was able to find two of the rescue rings in the Weser. These have been securely repaired to their brackets at the Kaje and are therefore again ready for future emergencies.

The willful vandalism caused an estimated property damage of around 300 euros. The police have taken up the investigation and asks possible witnesses to report to the person responsible.
