Giant damage in Hameln: indoor play hall completely burned down!

In the night of Monday, April 7, 2025, the indoor play hall "Ratz Fatz" was on fire in Hameln! The fire brigade was alerted at 2:05 a.m. after a witness noticed the smoke development. It was too late - the building burned light -fashioned. The fire brigade was forced to burn the building in a controlled manner in order to prevent the flames from spreading to a nearby shopping complex. Fortunately, there were no injured people.

The fire damage is currently estimated to be a high six -figure amount of up to almost one million euros. Due to the risk of collapse, the destroyed building is still removed by excavators today. The fire location is closed, while investigators from the Hameln police secure the first evidence. Access to the fire site remains prohibited for the public until further notice.
