Smoking at school: police reacts despite harmless threats

Gustav-Adolf-Schule, 47574 Goch, Deutschland - On Monday afternoon, the Kleve police were informed about threatening smearings at the Gustav Adolf School in Goch. A crime for Wednesday, May 14, 2025, was announced on the school toilet. However, immediate investigations in cooperation with the school management led to the conclusion that it was probably a "stupid joke".

Despite the police assessment, there was an increased police presence at the school on Tuesday and Wednesday to be available to students, parents and teachers.
