As part of the re -introduced internal border controls, the federal police caught a sought -after offender at the Altenheim border crossing! A 33-year-old Serbian citizen was under arrest warrant for theft. But the perpetrator was able to escape the 20-day prison sentence-by paying a fine. A small victory for the man, but the federal police measures to combat crime have an effect!
