Shock in the district: Tractor accident blocks train for 60 minutes!

On Friday evening, around 6:12 p.m., a spectacular tractor accident occurred on an agricultural path on Viermünden. For unexplained reasons, a 25-year-old man lost control of his tractor with a trailer, overturned and landed directly on the track bed of the nearby Warburg-Sarnau railway line.

Because of the accident, the railway line had to be closed for train traffic between 6:28 p.m. and 8:01 p.m., which led to a delay of 60 minutes for a train. A lifting crane was used to recover the tractor and release the route again.
