Shock in Herrenberg: Senior apartment target of refined jewelry theft!

A brazen thief crept into the apartment of a senior citizen on Beethovenstrasse in Herrenberg on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, around 4:00 p.m. The stranger got into the apartment under the pretext of having to check ceiling lamps and searched several rooms. In an unobserved moment, he grabbed a leather box with jewelry worth around 3,500 euros.

The perpetrator is about 30 to 40 years old, described with black hair and full beard. He had a height of around 170 centimeters and was slightly corpulent. He was dressed in gray jogging pants and a gray top and wore a presumably medical mask during his act. The theft was only discovered the next morning. The police asks witnesses and other possible victims to report to the Herrenberg police station.
