Köpenick, Deutschland - Yesterday afternoon a serious traffic accident occurred in Köpenick! A 39-year-old cyclist wanted to cross the Lindenstraße and Joachimstrasse intersection around 8:30 p.m. when the accident driver, a 49-year-old tram driver, caught him at Grüner traffic light. The cyclist suffered considerable trunk injuries and had to be taken to the hospital for inpatient treatment.

The accident led to significant disorders in the tram traffic of lines 27, 60, 67 and 61, which was interrupted until around 9:30 p.m. The investigation is already underway and are led by a specialist commissioner of the police department 3 (East). Further information is not yet available.
