Shock in Triptis: Moped driver seriously injured after an accident - witnesses wanted!

Triptis, Deutschland - on Wednesday evening at 10:15 p.m. there was a dramatic traffic accident in Triptis. A 16-year-old moped driver and his 15-year-old passenger were injured when a silver vehicle at high speed collided at the Neustädter Straße / Teichstraße intersection and then committed driver flight. The emergency services took the two young people to the hospital.

But the mischief did not stop here! Another unknown driver, possibly a blue Skoda Octavia, ran over one of the helmets of the young men lying on the ground, stopped briefly, stepped aside and continued his journey unmoved. The police are now urgently looking for witnesses who can provide information about the fleeting drivers. Anyone who has information is asked to report to the Schleiz police on 03663 4310.
