In the evening, a dramatic accident occurred at the Seilersee motorway entrance. A 44-year-old motorcyclist from Iserlohn was seriously injured in a collision with a car. The 59-year-old driver of the car, who turned left from Seilerseestrasse to the left, overlooked the motorcyclist who came towards him. The rescue measures took a long time while the fire brigade set up privacy screens. The injured biker was brought to a special clinic.

The 59-year-old driver, panicked, initially fled from the scene of the accident, but was later picked up by the police at the district station and brought back to the scene of the accident. He and his two passengers also suffered minor injuries and had to be taken to a hospital for treatment. The Seilerseestrasse and the driveway towards Hagen and the departure from the A 46 from Hemer are currently closed. A traffic accident team from Dortmund will support the local forces in the investigation.
