Shock accident in Melle: Mitsubishi overturns-cyclists barely escape!

Melle, Deutschland - On Tuesday evening there was a spectacular accident on Oldendorfer Strasse in Melle! A 47-year-old Ford driver ran over the right of way of a Mitsubishi driver around 6:40 p.m. The impact was so violent that the Mitsubishi overturned several times and finally came to a standstill on the bike path.

A 65-year-old cyclist who was in the wrong place at the wrong time was just able to save himself aside before the vehicle hit him. He suffered minor injuries. However, the Mitsubishi driver, a 50-year-old man, suffered serious injuries and had to be taken to the hospital with the emergency services. Fortunately, the Ford driver was not injured. The accident led to considerable traffic impairments, and the Mitsubishi was no longer ready to drive and had to be towed.
