Gänsfüßerstraße, Haßloch, Deutschland - A senior woman from Haßloch was victim to a perfidious fraud on Friday evening, May 2, 2025. Around 11:00 p.m. she received a shocking call from a crying woman who claimed that her daughter had caused a serious accident. An alleged ward doctor who spoke to accent -free High German informed the woman that she urgently had to pay a higher amount of money in order to avert her son's arrest.

Just an hour later, a supposed messenger from the Neustadt district court appeared on her apartment door in Gänsfüßerstrasse and picked up cash and valuables. The police urgently warns against taking such calls seriously and penetrating vigilance. A note: The police never request information about assets by telephone and do not send employees to collect valuables. Anyone who receives such a call should put up immediately and contact the police.
