On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, a serious accident occurred on Arnulfstrasse when a car raced into a tram house. The first emergency call alarmed the emergency services at 11:54 a.m., who quickly hurried to the scene of the accident. A total of 30 firefighters and 35 rescue workers were mobilized to help the injured.

After intensive medical care, three people had to be brought to the shock rooms of Munich clinics, while two more with moderate and two with minor injuries also came to the hospital. All injuries are adults. The uninjured driver also received support from the crisis intervention team. The property damage is estimated on a high five -digit amount. The police have received the investigation into the cause of the accident.
