Shocking traffic controls: 75 truck drivers in the spacer network!
Bretzfeld, Deutschland - On Thursday, the Weinsberg traffic police carried out intensive checks on the federal highway 6 between Weinsberg and Bretzfeld. In the "Sommerhalden" parking lot, trucks and semitrailers were checked. 75 drivers found that they had not complied with the prescribed minimum distance of 50 meters. In addition, eleven further violations of the load securing and the steering and rest periods were documented during the campaign. In two cases, the drivers were prohibited from continuing.
Speed measurements between the Bretzfeld and Öhringen junctions also took place in parallel to these controls. Over 6,300 vehicles were checked here, whereby 266 of them drove too quickly. A car driver who was flashed at 142 km/h at the permitted 100 km/h was particularly striking.| Details | |
