on Friday, May 2nd, 2025, there was a dramatic motorcycle accident at the L 3004 at 2:00 p.m. A 17-year-old cyclist wanted to overtake a minibus, while a 19-year-old also tried to overtake the same bus. In a shocking moment, the 19-year-old had to brake abruptly when an oncoming vehicle appeared. In doing so, he overtaken the 17-year-old's overtaking, which led to a violent collision of the two motorcycles.

The result: both drivers fell and suffered serious injuries. The seriously injured 19-year-old was flown to the Erfurt Clinic with the rescue helicopter, while the 17-year-old was brought to the Ilm district clinic by ambulance. The property damage to the motorcycles is estimated at around 8,000 euros. A terrifying example of the dangers of overtaking!
