Shocking accident on B535: truck driver causes traffic jam!

A dramatic traffic accident occurred this morning at around 6:30 a.m. on the B535 height Patrick-Henry-Village in the direction of Heidelberg. At least three vehicles, including a truck, were involved. The truck, which came from the A5 motorway, wanted to drive up to the B535 at the Schwetzingen/Heidelberg junction. When switching to the right lane, a 21-year-old opener had to avoid a collision. In the left lane, however, a Skoda was already on the road, which led to the driver lost control of her vehicle and rammed both the middle -range plank and the truck. Fortunately, she only suffered minor injuries.

Traffic is currently led over the acceleration strip past the scene of the accident, which leads to a backlog of up to 3 kilometers on the A5. Drivers who are familiar with nearby are urgently asked to avoid the scene of the accident in order to avoid further delays.
