An 88-year-old man from Nettetal was on a hardware store car park with his car when he suddenly accelerated the vehicle. First, the pensioner rammed a fence, which he dragged several meters before he turned off to the right to the right and collided with a parked truck.

The consequences were serious: an 86-year-old passenger, also from Nettetal, suffered serious injuries, while the driver got away with slight injuries. The police immediately drafted the driver's driver's license and started the investigation into the course of the accident, the reasons of which are so far unclear.
