on May 2nd, 2025, around 5:00 p.m., a serious traffic accident occurred on the B19 between Wasungen and Schwumpen. Two motorcyclists who were part of a group overlooked a car that wanted to turn left at the intersection, which led to a dramatic collision. One motorcyclist suffered serious injuries, the other got away with minor injuries. Both were immediately transported to surrounding hospitals.

The emergency services as well as a rescue helicopter and the volunteer fire brigade, which were on site with numerous forces, were in use. The B19 had to be completely blocked for several hours while cleaning up and recovery work.
