Terrible accident on A31: two injured and hours of closure!

on Tuesday evening, around 6:16 p.m., there was a spectacular traffic accident on the A31 near Wietmarschen, which demanded two injuries. A 57-year-old transporter driver overlooked the BMW of a 53-year-old when switching to the overtaking strip and crashed into the vehicle unchecked. The impact was violent: the transporter then crashed into a tractor-trailer of a 36-year-old, while the BMW thrown against the middle protection plank and then also against the truck.

Both drivers, the transporter and BMW driver, suffered minor injuries. The highway remained closed until 11 p.m., while the police and emergency services had to go to clean the scene of the accident and carry out clean -up work. The damage? A whopping 19,000 euros - an expensive mishap for everyone involved!
