On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, around 4:10 p.m. on Messinger Strasse in Lünne, a serious traffic accident between two motorcyclists occurred. Both men, 61 and 66 years old, suffered serious injuries in the incident. The two bikers were apparently on a common motorcycle tour when there was a serious rear -end collision in the confluence area to Mühlenstrasse. The front driver might want to turn left.

The Messinger Straße was partially closed until around 5:23 p.m. during the accident. In addition to police and rescue workers, an emergency doctor and a rescue helicopter were also on site to help as quickly as possible. The exact causes of the accident have so far been unclear.
