On Sunday evening, April 27, a serious traffic accident occurred in Pulheim-Brauweiler between a car and a motorcycle. Shortly after half past eight, the district control center was informed about the dramatic incident on Bonnstrasse (L183) at Donatusstrasse. Immediately the fire truck Brauweiler and the full -time guard in Pulheim, equipped with two ambulances and an emergency doctor, were sent to the scene of the accident.

The emergency services met on site for a seriously injured motorcyclist who was already looked after by first aiders. The situation quickly required the support of a rescue helicopter (Christoph Rheinland), since the injuries of the Kradfahrer were very serious. After the medical care, the injured driver was immediately transported to a maximum care in Cologne.
