On Monday there was a spectacular traffic accident at 3:37 p.m. on federal road 247. A VW driver who was traveling from Mühlhausen in the direction of Höngeda ignored a restricted area in a construction site for an unknown cause. As a result, she touched a Fiat on the side that drove in oncoming traffic. The impact turned the Fiat and led to an additional collision with a truck that also drove towards Mühlhausen.
