On Saturday afternoon there was a dramatic traffic accident on the B27 between Blumberg and Hüfingen, which demanded several injuries. At around 2:00 p.m., a 59-year-old driver of a VW Polo lost control in a right-hand bend and collided head-on with a correctly oncoming Fiat Ducato. The violent impact slightly injured both the VW driver and the 71-year-old Fiat driver. Tragic: Two 87-year-old passengers in Polo suffered serious injuries and had to be taken to the hospital immediately.

The police estimate the total damage to the vehicles at around 13,000 euros. The accident led to a three-hour full closure of the main road in both directions, while the investigators from the Mühlhausen-Ehingen traffic police clarify the causes of the accident. A dangerous situation that changed the lives of many people in a second!
