A serious traffic accident occurred on the B45 between Zuzenhausen and Meckesheim when a 20-year-old Mercedes driver came off the road. According to initial knowledge, he collided with a traffic sign and overturned several times before he came to a standstill on the wheels. The driver was seriously but not life -threatening and had to be taken to a nearby hospital in the emergency services.

The accident led to total damage to the vehicle and caused property damage of around 10,000 euros. The B45 was closed in both directions between 10:30 p.m. and 00:30 a.m., while the accident recording and the road cleaning were carried out. Contrary to the first report, only one vehicle was involved in the accident. However, it is pointed out that another accident took place shortly after this incident, which initially led to the assumption that several vehicles were involved.
