Serious accident on B9: Cyclist collides with a motorcycle and socia

In the early afternoon, around 4:45 p.m., a serious traffic accident occurred on the B9 between Boppard and Spay. A cyclist who drove the bike path towards Koblenz wanted to cross the B9 when he collided with a motorcycle driving in the same direction. The effects of the impact were dramatic: the main road had to be completely blocked for a whopping 1.5 hours, which led to significant traffic disruptions.

The injured, including the cyclist and motorcyclist with socia, were immediately transported to surrounding hospitals, with a rescue helicopter being used. The police have started the investigation into the exact course of the accident and is on site to restore security and order.
