On Wednesday evening there was a dramatic car accident on Castroper Straße! A 59-year-old wife from Datteln was seriously injured, while a 44-year-old man from Olfen banged minor injuries. The woman was traveling towards the city center at 5:25 p.m. when she got on oncoming traffic for reasons that have so far been unexplained and collided head-on with the oncoming 44-year-old. The impact was so violent that his vehicle still rammed a parked car!

The police had to completely block Castroper Straße during the accident. The episode? Massive traffic disruptions!
